Every year, March 18 is termed as Manipur Day, a
celebration of love and affection between Indian people and the beautiful Mother
Nature. The festival is celebrated in many parts of India, particularly in the
states of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Chennai, Kerala and Telangana. March 18
marks the day when Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe and preserver of
creation, visited the earth to take care of his children by placing them in
water. Later on, the Earth was made perfect and humans were created by the
mighty Hindu God, Vishnu.
Manipur Day is on the very opposite of Rama Saleh, which
falls on the day of Ganapati, a festival of love. The festival is devoted to
Vamadev, lord of happiness. Also on this day, people in the districts of
Telangana, Orrissa and Andhra Pradesh wear the yellow-colored area to show
their adherence to the love that they profess to the Goddess of Love. The most
famous colors used in these dresses are: red, maroon, gold, silver, platinum
and denim.
Manipur data is considered as one of the most auspicious dresses among people from various castes and communities. This is because it symbolizes good luck and wealth for the entire family. This is why the celebration in most of the villages in India on this day is celebrated with great joy and happiness. A typical Manipur matka features a combination of rich colors, like maroon, red and gold. It is embellished with stones and is adorned with a heavily embellished border. In addition to that, it is often accompanied by a lively ditty or rhyme.
While it is true that people from all castes and
communities are present at the celebration of Manipur state Matkha, there is no
doubt that individuals like to dress up their beloved ones in satta. This is
because this outfit is considered to be one of the best options available for
women. Amongst the various types of data outfits that women can wear on this
special day, the satta data is considered to be the best in terms of comfort
and utility.
Those who wish to get married in the district of Manipur day should ensure that they get their dresses beautifully embroidered with
"ma" and "na" in bright letters on both sides. This is because
they will wear these dresses to the marriage ceremony and also during the
reception party in honour of their parents, brothers and sisters. The satta
matka in bright colors is considered to be a perfect choice for this purpose.
It is better compared to the red area that can easily fade away with exposure
to sun rays.
Every year, whenever the Indian rulers come to Manipur
for the funeral ceremonies, it is important that they pay homage to the
departed king by wearing the data. In fact, many people from all over India
visit this region of Assam to pay their last respects to the legendary figures
of Manipur. For those who are unable to get an opportunity to visit Manipur for
the occasion, they can watch live videos of the entire event from online websites.
In fact, many celebrities like Ajit Bharti, Sonamindra onstage at the Manipur
state matka festival. On the whole, it is said that the event is conducted with
much decorum and all is kept under the watchful eyes of the royal family.
Therefore, every day in Manipur, the satta matka floats peacefully on the
